Introduction
I’ve noted that despite the ever-evolving nature of speech-language pathology as a discipline, there seems to be very few voices representing our profession online. Sure, there’s ASHA, but that’s about it, and even that has other SLPs as its target audience. Everything else that’s out there seems to be one of two things: therapy resources, or ads for service providers.
So, I’ve set out to give the public a glimpse into one man’s take on the profession. What we do. Where we’re going. Where we’re lacking. What’s new. What’s old. What’s old but deserves a fresh look. I look forward to feeedback at {farnhamspeech at gmail} or @farnhamspeech on Twitter. Particularly thought-provoking feedback will be reposted here.
